Jibber jabber

Was just doing research for the show Madama Butterfly and saw this poster, got totally intrigued.
And I did some further research about Puccini's other pieces and saw this:

Well, I do think the Japanese style was very much alike but although the girl is amazingly pretty in the latter poster she's nothing close to Chinese.
And then I remembered she's Persian ...
Can't believe my ancesters were ruled by those cute eyeliners ...
Please ignore me ...
Tomorrow evening, can't wait!

Art Gallery Concert
Sunday 24th June 2012
12:30 Art Gallery of NSW

A Delicate Touch

An unforgettable moment in the trip.
Bumped into a casual gallery concert while wandering around in Sydney.
The amazing effect was not only the performance.
But also the surroundings of paintings from old time and the virtue they generates.
It's easy to see how people appreciated it from their faces. No ones cared about whether people applause between movements, or whether they are peoperly dressed.
The atmosphere was bright. And that's the essence of the joy that music brings.

......

What's the boundary of art and non-art?
Is there good art and bad art?
What does art do people for?
What does art look like?
What does art feel like?
Why does art exist?
Why is it art?
What is art?

Art?

A world away, but not a world apart

"A world away, but not a world apart"

The 8-day trip to Tassie ended today.
It's the best trip ever, it made me think, what's all that stuff that I've been chasing for, why don't I be true and feithful to myself ?!?
Live like no one ever lived before, and I'm still on my way.

To my dearest Egon Schiele

To my dearest Egon Schiele

Adaption of Egon Schiele's Sitting Woman With Legs Drawn Up, 1917.
Tablet,Photoshop

Since first glimpse of his masterpiece in 2008 winter, I became addicted to Egon Schiele, obsessed with his stokes, colours, in the painting, and also his own story and lovers.

I was lucky enough to see some of his masterpieces in NGV Melbourne this winter. And my ardent admiration was aroused again.
